ok so i thought it would be a good idea to add a site migration thread to give u guys / beefgir /me updates on whats going on with the new site

ok so i got the new gallery working and im still tinkering with some of the shit on it and updateing the photo database very slowly http://www.beefgir.net/gallery

next is to hunt down a new theme for it and ill get around to changing the logo some time tonight (i wish i could put all the photos in the right folder and just click update data base but i cant)

So, will the new site be basicly the same as this one or will there be some differences in how it works?

as far as what is palned it will be pretty musch the same but with a real fourm (using phpBB) and a diffrent gallery

I checked your codings, I feel you should be informed that javascript doesn't work with Ipod/Ipad also, some users block javascript to stop viruses/spyware being downloaded because of them, and that button/"menu" making and hovering can be acomplished through css.

If you aren't conserned with "Proper" coding, add a div into the link tag, the css codings are as follows:

I will use the class selector as menu for the div.

well shit son we have a real web devloper here  i used to be pretty good at doing html codeing but havent bothered to learn css i can read most code like the php scripts that i have to play with to get somethings working right  that being said we havent bothered to actualy code the site infact beefgir is just using a site creator built in to the hosting service  and the name host is making some things pain full with the dns server they have

also i laugh at thoses who have apple products because of so many basic features that are missing

The reason mobile apple products can't use java/flash is because apple does not want users to play free online games, they want people paying for games in the app store instead.

im well aware of that iff java and falsh where avalabule the app store wode pretymuch die and jobs wodnt make any money from commisions on the apps
