well it apears the people in charge of the server have changed the layout again, and failed to tell me about it. so once again im stuck trying to figure out what the hell im doing.  only problem is because of all this, everything is slower, bogged down, and retarded.


first up on the chopping block is Sony.  now this is really getting out of hand.  before the release of little big planet, the game was delayed because there was a song in it that has words from the koran. so Sony recalled all the games and fixed them so the song was no longer in the game, even though the people who made it said that they could patch it instantly with an update the moment the game was first played.  but Sony said no and recalled all the games.
then more recently they started deleting levels that people made that had anything to do with anyone's intellectual property. so now anything that had a reference to batman, or Microsoft, or even the PS3, all those levels where deleted.
but the worst thing has most recently happened. it turns out that Sony is in charge of moderating little big planet, and i have to say that they have done to much. there was an amazing level that i played called the Azure Palace. this was by far the best level i ever played on little big planet.  well it was deleted for some reason, and it turns out that Sony is to blame.  they have been deleting levels that people complain about with out even checking to see what is wring with the level. so when they delete something, the creator gets no warning, and has no chance to change what is wrong with it, and fix it.  instead the leval is just deleted, and this leval was a victim.  here is a video of this leval. i feal sorry for everyone who did not get to play it, this video is all that remains of it.

news - in the new Banjo-Kazooie game, apparently a character says Rare is making sequels to Killer Instinct, Battletoads, Jet Force Gemini, and Grabbed By Ghoulies. They could be messing with us, but it's unlikely.

news - oh wow. Some turkish prisoner pulled a Solid Snake and GOT OUT OF PRISON. He hid in a box that was transported out of the prison via truck, then when the truck was a distance away from the prison, he hopped out and ran off. The driver saw the tarp flapping in the wind and figured out what happened. The guy hasn't been found yet lol!

news - Halo 3: Recon (which will get a spread in the December issue of Game Informer) is apparently going to be 3-5 hours long and is "not a $60 game."



news - apparently, to fight used peripherals, Nintendo is setting up their new Wii Speak device so to chat with others outside of the game, you need to download the Wii Speak Channel to do so, and you can only download it using a download coupon included with the device. So someone else can't buy a used device and then get the channel because they won't have the coupon that has already been used.



news - the new Anime-esque, awesome Strategy RPG PS3 game Valkyria Chronicles is getting an anime



news - the Dragonball movie release date has been shifted from April 10, 2009 (friday) to April 8, 2009 (wednesday). LOL! What, do they think it's such a blockbuster that it's really necessary to release it on a wednesday? hahaha!



news - nintendo is getting sued for patent infringement AGAIN. First they were sued for breaking someone else's patent on a "3D controller w/ vibration" (which they lost and have to pay $21 million to the Texas-based company) and now some company is suing them for violating "a human movement measurement system comprising a hand-held tracking device in communiacation with a base station that can be used to create an interactive gaming experience" (sounds an awful lot like the wiimote to me). The patent was filed in July 2004 and granted in November 2007.
also, Nintendo just recently patented a crapload of DS/DSi ideas lol
like "DSiVideo" and whatnot



news - a new Wii browser upgrade is coming out in December and will cost people 500 points if they don't have a previous version of the browser (which then makes it free). The browser's features will include Wii Speak compatibility, wii mail client, and tabbed browsing (up to 6 tabs now). oooooooooo. an email client. pretty fancy for something that does not have a fucking keyboard. 



news - a 3rd party wireless Wii Classic Controller has been released for $30 recently. Looks actually pretty friggin nice. I'd pick one up if it wasn't $30

xbox live is being retarded. i have said much about xbox laitly because my system has been on the shop, but it comes back today, and now i can say stuff about it again. 
so, xbox live is being retarded and many people cant connect for some reason. all we know is Microsoft is working on it. 



the new dashboard for the 360 comes out this Wednesday.



Home for the PS3 was "rumored" to come out the same time as the xbox dashboard.  but it turns out they never confirmed that, so we dont even have a date for it. 



news - Sonic Team said a few weeks ago that Sonic Unleashed was going to be delayed in Japan because they wanted to improve the quality. Now, Sega has stepped in and said that they're delaying it in Japan because of a manufacturing schedule.  that basicaly means that they're trying to say "oh, we don't have enough copies printed right now"
but this basically falls to the sonic team. they keep making shit games because they don't polish them.  the controls and movement and other glitches and crap end up in the final version because Sonic Team SUCK at bug testing and whatnot.  and from what I've seen in some vids of Unleashed, Sonic might not move very smoothly in the environment when he's not running straight.. which is weird when the werehog looks like he controls just fine. it's something that shouldn't be a problem and yet it is



Also, apparently, the Wii/PS2 version is pretty different from the 360/PS3 version of the game since it's made by a different team. Basically different level designs, though. But from what I saw it plays a little different too.

Microsoft says that Rare WILL be fixing the tiny text size in the new Banjo Kazooie game. this is after they said they would not be fixing it because it was to expensive.  the new fix should be out in a week or 2.

news - the R4 doesn't work with the DSi.  lol antipiracy. its funny though because the DSi has an sd card slot that im sure will be raped to shit when it comes to piracy.  but really, why get a new DS that has a cheep ass camera, no game boy advanced game slot, and you can not play pirated games on?  that just screems retarted.

news - Circuit city is closing off 155 of their stores, and will be doing sales on games and stuff. Sadly, these sales are total crap. between 5%-10% of select things. It might get better when they get closer to closing, though. but deals may be better in the closing stores.

news - LBP mods are now deleting levels that have absolutely any references to other IPs, be they blatant whole levels dedicated to stuff like Mario, or a simple reference (like a goomba enemy or something). They even deleted someone's Playstation 3 level. Yeah, they need to be slapped right now. I know they said that they would delete any unoriginal, copyright infringing levels, but to do it without warning (and to completely wipe it out so you can't even edit out the material unless you backed it up on a second space) is total bullshit for people who spent DAYS on that shit
